I don't know how these studies are conducted but it was shocking if true.

Seems completely reasonable to me.

Black men are arguably the least dedicated to a traditional view of marriage/family. Gay culture has had promiscuity at its core forever. I'm sure the reality is that having to conduct relationships in secret for decades probably created that, and it's carried over to some extent even in an era where you're more likely to see monogamous couples than before.

I worked with a gay guy once who was very anti-pride celebrations because he thought it promoted the old ways and was standing in the way of gay people better integrating into normal/traditional culture.

When you are getting above 60%, it will depend on what trailer park you live in.

Actually has nothing to do with my life.

I’ve been researching the subject and the studies very so widely that I wanted a male opinion (obviously not very useful).

Any straight male that lives +25 years with a spouse has cheated. Anyone that tells you otherwise is a liar or a full cuck while his spouse cheats.

I see an affair as any physical relationship outside of marriage..as well as any emotional affair.

This is what I was getting at. Would you consider a work flirt an emotional affair? A guy friend confiding in his female friend? It's just such a tough thing to define, and if you're defining it in such a way that over 60% of your married friends are "cheating" you either have shite head friends or are way too aggressive with that definition.

Most studies cite between 15-60% of married males.

Seems like a rather wide margin no?

That’s why I said heterosexual males. The studies mostly included white middle class males, including the 60% stat. Just interesting.

I think the issue is most males don’t even tell their closest friends about their affairs for fear of being found.

It is hard to define. But if in any way you wouldn’t be 100% up front with your wife about what you say/do with another woman....it’s probably cheating.

But no, I’m not being liberal with my definition with my friends. Most the males I know have had a physical affair....I’m not even thinking about the emotional ones.

I've seen studies that cite between 0-100%.

After you've been married for 10+ years and have smashed every way imaginable you don't want to frick her or anyone else.

I'd rather drink, eat and watch football

I completely agree with this. This is what I’ve seen from personal experience. Most of these are men you’d never expect....good family life...just want more.

You don’t realize how prevalent it is until you’re a part of the club. It’s its own secret world.

So...how long have you been cheating?
