Short version: If you share stuff with another person, but not your spouse, that is most definitely cheating.

Well, this is just stupid. I have a spouse where I say everything with no filter....but just because a man may have a female friend that he confides in at times he isn't unfaithful.

I'm certain you've already been told to get less trashy friends and asked which trailer park you live in.

Infidelity is higher amongst the lower socioeconomic classes.

So a therapist? Some things can be said to a spouse and some only to a friend or objective other.

Biology permits the ability to have extracurricular relationships, particularly physical ones.

The issue is that physical relationships rarely stay purely physical (unless you’re just hiring hookers, I guess). Sex has a way of making us feel bonded to other people. Bang someone else when you’re at a stressful/emotionally low point in your primary relationship, and you’ll start romanticizing that other person. Developing feelings & thinking the grass is greener. It rarely works out, biological destiny or not.

Stats on this? Seems like wealthier men would have a lot more opportunities.

To be fair it's easier than you think.

Travel, job schedules, traffic all give plenty of time for either or both spouses to cheat.

You hang out with some low character folks. If any of my friends, real friends were to cheat I would be shocked. We are all too busy running kids around, taking care of the family and house and watching football.

Most of my buddies would rather go to the camp in their free time versus chase some strange. And not one of us is smart enough to not leave our phones just laying around.

I was thinking the same thing. I was around a ton of fraternity degenerates in college and even then they did not cheat on their girlfriends, much less now that we're all settled-down and married. I can't imagine having that mindset as an adult when you actually have something to lose and can legitimately ruin some lives by cheating. In college the worst that would happen to you is the girl would find out and run back to her sorority house where they'd all shite on you for a few weeks before it blew over.

bullshite. You confide your thoughts/feelings to your spouse, not some other female. If you can't confide to your spouse, then why are you married? Or why marry at all? That is unfaithful, period.

Not at all. You ever hung out on the street? The wealthy have a lot more to lose.

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen posted on this website in 14 years.

I had a brief affair years ago with a married woman because her hubby was spending a little too much time at the camp. She was definitely looking for some male attention and was great in bed.

I didn't say it wasn't easy. It's more consequential.

It’s crossing that fine line of friendship as a married individual. Thinking about the person when you’re away from them, telling them intimate details about your life or relationship, having that sexual tension even if it’s unsaid. It’s breaking a trust with your spouse.

Seeing some of these statistics was a big red pill for me a couple years ago. That community is largely a disaster.
