Gonna make the Washington St exit 3 lanes for all that traffic that exits there.

99% sure it doesn't include the bridge

I don't think the bridge is the issue. It could eventually be the issue depending on how well the expansion works.

I think we would see another bridge somewhere before we expanded this one.

we need a second bridge, simply expanding another lane or two will provide minimal impact. The problem is routing through traffic through the city.

Any answer that does not include a new bridge and a loop will be a cluster and waste of money

That fat a-hole will bitch and complain that the interstate expansion will negatively affect low income black people... he's used the same shitty argument before

My issue is (as was pointed out earlier) the perkins overpass... how are they going to get around all the existing businesses in that area

Hell, just a few years ago, a truck flipped over the railing and landed between Ivars and Zee Zee's... Would not want to live in those apts next door after this expansion

Pretty sure all they're doing eastbound is getting rid of the exit only at Washington St and extending that lane all the way through the city. They're going to keep the exit there. But it makes it two continuous lanes around the curve off the bridge unlike the one lane it is now. It'll help some but it's really not enough.

I-10 needs to be 3 lanes around that curve and all the way through the city to improve the bottleneck.

Yeah a bridge for the loop. Duh.

Also, half of the stretch between the bridge and the split is elevated highway. That construction would be a shite show.
