First, there are many coffee places that are better and aren't communist sympathizers. But if you're going to go there, pay only in arse pennies.

I actually kind of like it assuming they have touchless pay. They stick out the card reader, I put my phone up to it, and we're ready to roll.

I tried a while back. Went out of my way for the privilege of paying more for a regular cup of coffee just to support the local guy, and they refused to serve me bc I didn’t have a mask. I had simply forgotten my mask at home, I wasn’t trying to make a statement. Pulling my shirt over my nose wasn’t good enough. The cashier is ten feet from the door so I offered to toss the cashier my credit card and wait outside. Nope.
The kicker? Only one other customer was in there, and she was sitting at a table without a mask. So I drove thru McDonald’s for a cheaper cup. Some local businesses just don’t help themselves.

They won’t rethink shite. But their power tripping crap will get punctured and they will get irritated as hell over it.

Starbucks coffee is mostly burnt garbage. Their blonde roast is pretty good, and their specialty coffee is maybe as good as local roasters but more expensive.

I've been to a few in more densely populated areas where you have to get a key code from the worker to use the bathroom. And if it is slammed with patrons, good luck.
Come to think of it, it is wild some of the locations I've been in. I remember going to one in a really seedy part of Los Angeles where they had tons of homeless/thugs using the tables and yelling at everyone.
