The current system where black and “minority” applicants get into the best med schools and residencies regardless of actual ability means you have no way knowing if a black physician or surgeon is actually good. As a patient, you are better off always choosing a white male because that is the only doctor you can be sure was given no preference and had to make it completely on their own talent.

Without digging into the statistics any further, 0.29% tells you it’s more likely that bias was involved than these results occurring randomly.

Collective ideologies strip individuality away from the person and instill a cult like structure.
People are easier to control in groups than they are as individuals.

Progressives have decided that black folks and women cannot compete with white dudes unless the deck is stacked.
That's systematic racism.

They all think black people are too stupid to find a DMV. How could they possibly believe they could get into Med school on merit.

Facts.
If you believe a race too inferior to do the basic civic things, you sure don't have faith in them to diagnose your disease.

Wouldn’t you love to see what it would look like if the schools only got a number attached to applications? No name, gender, race, or location.

How retarded do you have to be to defend this? Please tell us. Just how retarded are you?

Okay. Let’s focus on just one variable: sex.
To make things easy and simple, let’s just say that the same number of men and women applied for general surgery and they were all equally qualified. (This would give the benefit of doubt to Stanford btw. I’m not trying to hide the actual statistics, I just don’t feel like looking them up)
Under these circumstances, without any bias, running a fair match, you’d expect a general surgery residency program to match 50% women and %50 men.
Of course, you’ll have some variation. Some programs will randomly match 60/40, others 30/70, and so and so forth.
The likelihood of matching women to 11/12 spots would be 12/4,096 or 0.29%.
That’s a zero and a decimal point in front of 29, in case you missed it.
Without digging into the statistics any further, 0.29% tells you it’s more likely that bias was involved than these results occurring randomly.
This indicates Stanford general surgery residency program ranked women preferentially and discriminated against men.
So, while I couldn’t say whether or not those that matched with Stanford gen surg are qualified/deserving, it’s more likely than not that other more deserving/qualified candidates were passed over just because they were born men. And that’s the real issue here.

NIH article
More women are entering med school, more women are functioning as faculty, and more women are in attending roles (at least here in the bay area). You have to assume that the same nepotism that kept mostly white males in these spots will creep in and swing the other way. Is it right, no. Is it fair, maybe. Either way, the physicians on this board who have spoken with 'authority' on the inferiority of women should justify female physicians showing a little preferential treatment to female applicants....where is the deal with it meme when I need it?
For the record, I have worked with both phenomenal and shitty surgeons of both sexes and all ethnicities. To act like men have better hands and brains than all women is laughable. My great grandma could have out sutured most skilled plastics on any given Tuesday. She was keen.

3 blacks.
Out of 13. That's 23%. They make up 13% of population. In addition, they achieve far below all other races academically. No way that's legit. Affirmative action in action.
As med schools and hospitals go further down this rabbit hole, people are going to start to recognize it which is only going to hurt the black community more.
People are going to become less comfortable with black physicians because they will assume they advanced at the expense of a more qualified and capable med student who had the wrong genitalia and skin color.
Progressives really do destroy everything they touch.

So you're an Ibram X. Kendi follower. "The only way to combat discrimination is with discrimination. "

I’m genuinely curious in how long a female surgeon lasts in the field compared to the male surgeons. This isn’t based on competency or ability but simply biology.
How long does the average female doctor work (years not hours/week) compared to her male counterparts.

Tulane heading in the same direction?

This thread is going to go on for ages. There's nothing that gets a white, conservative, male pissed off more than a woman in presumed role of power.

Something tells me that if you looked at the white males that applied, there are 10 that would make everyone ask WTF are some of them not even accepted?
