It is true. I know a number of eye witnesses and it was clear cut what happened. Now we get to see how corrupt St Tammany really is.

Bobby is easy not to like. But the truth is what the truth is and the Sheriff is in world of shite.

St Slammany has had their run of poor sheriff choices and leadership
From the Strains to this clown.

Would maybe expect more from the most affluent and educated parish in Louisiana, but it is Louisiana after all....

Sounds like he’s the reason for the nick name “St. Slammany” for throwing people in the slammer

For sure. My other post before stated that you absolutely cannot do something like that as someone holding public office under any circumstance.

Why can’t the northshore get some normal sheriffs, chief of police, DAs?
Because it’s the best area to live in Louisiana. There’s a mental block that prevents residents from expecting better.

They fear they are on a precipice. One wrong move, and they will fall down in the gutter with the rest of the state.

Sure changed from a nice guy at his initial fundraiser into a totally different person at his pay off the campaign debt victory dinner. Heard it is progressively worse over the years.

Legally - probably not much will happen if it is just simple battery which is a misdemeanor. The fine is $1000 and up to 6 months in prison.
Reality is many 1st time offenders get misdemeanor probation and attend anger management classes.

Civil - Could be sued.

Politically - the voters will decide.

I think you’re under something with that. I generally defend Louisiana on here and think people are way too negative about it but for whatever reason the people here, even those with means, tolerate way too much

Rumor has it he was using a glass or bottle of some kind during the Aggravated Battery, which carries much harsher penalties. As for Bobby, he has been nothing but kind and a gentlemen to me, and stands for free speech, and actually has the Courage to broadcast his opinions - which are for the most part correct. I promise you he does not care one shite what anyone in the world cares about him.

Anyone defending the alcoholic soon to be felon sheriff because they don’t like the way someone talks needs to be examined.

Yep. The second he won he started exacting revenge on people for personal grudges.

Allegedly.
