Ever notice that most of the dirty cops are always at police departments and not sheriff departments?
Sheriffs have their fair share trust me. One of the dirtiest cops I’ve ever known worked for an SO. Narcotics detective. He is going 30 years in the federal system.

People have no idea how common the whole ‘down low brother’ thing is among black males. It’s hardly ever acknowledged, but it’s a real thing. I have no idea if this case is related, and maybe it isn't, but it’s plausible.

This is a wild story.
I see he's originally from New Iberia.

This is wild! Dude was trying to get arrested and only went in for $40.

That department is so corrupt. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sheriff called for an investigation hoping it would then lead to further investigation into the police chief.
This is the most corrupt agency in the state, maybe the US. The Chiefs son has killed multiple people, their cops have murdered people. Chief is under investigation, had the FBI raid his office for missing money.
And now their allstar deputy was the middle man to a drug dealing operation.

Where is the evidence that Roley was a registered Republican? How can you know how someone votes??

Are you talking about his step-father who the killer moved away from when first moving in with his paternal grandfather in Oklahoma and then moving to Idaho to be allegedly be closer to his biological father even though he lived out of his vehicle in Idaho?

All I’m saying is that Boutte was the police chiefs right hand man for many years, there’s even been rumors that they were lovers at some point. Ambeau’s federal trial was supposed to start 2 weeks ago and was delayed.
I don’t think this is a coincidence. Could be, but there’s no way in hell Ambeau didn’t know Boutte was peddling drugs. No way.
Hopefully this is the last straw & the department gets shut down. A town the size of St. Gabriel has no business having a police department.

In St Gabriel almost 1/3 of the population are in prison inside its boundaries. It used to be higher until they had to move the female prison which also caused the black population to drop below 50% of the city in thr 2020 census. The howling heard at night in St Gabriel isn’t from the coyotes.

That has to be the most dysfunctional small town department anywhere in the country.
And you wonder why?

Boutte is accused of being a drug dealer (WAFB)
They say the assailant and victim were connected. Victim supply drugs he even directed the police where to find crystal meth in the victims house

Boutte had recently became the department’s handler for their new narcotics k9

The St. Gabriel Police Department in St. Gabriel, LA has received their new K9, Dino! Dino works with handler, Captain Devin Boutte and has been trained in narcotics detection and patrol work. Already Dino is proving to be an invaluable asset in both law enforcement and community service. The Department was awarded an AKC Reunite K9 Cop Grant with the help of the United States Police Canine Association.

That poor dog wasn't trained to find drugs for his handler's gay lover to sell.

They were in a violent relationship apparently.
Assailant tried to leave numerous times, even committed robbery to try and get away from the victim according to WBRZ.
Get ready for self-defense/domestic escape defense.
Not sure if Louisiana has a caveat for domestic escape, but we bout to find out.

That’s just what the perp told police and I’m really not buying it. He has a rap sheet beyond just the simple robbery.
There’s a lot about to come to light. Stassi has asked the AG to come back and investigate the department, which is much needed, imo.
