They need to pull a Reagan and fire all of the strikers.

I would think there’s really no grounds for pulling or editing his podcasts. Rogan has been adamant about not editing or holding back his entire time he’s done his podcast. He’s also mentioned that when he signed the Spotify deal, none of that has changed.
I’m sure there is language in Rogans contract that probably says that those people threatening to strike can go get fricked or he can sue Spotify for breach of contract. That’s a large contract to breach.

and audiences could abandon the podcast if it becomes censored or controlled.

I've never listened to Rogan and come away thinking he was far right or far left - just a good interviewer with consistent logic
These people are threatening a strike over a guy who mostly talks about MMA and drugs

Modern progressives fricking LOVE censorship.

It’s a tough situation. On one hand selective censorship shouldn’t be something anyone wants, but on the other hand you have highly powerful people like Joe Rogan spreading just straight misinformation at times and susceptible audiences (takes a look around) will eat it up because they don’t know any better.
Take your nanny-state dreams and shove 'em.

CNN, MSNBC, NYT, and WaPo spread misinformation every day. Except they actually sell it as factual news.

Techie dorks and still dorks at the end of the day

Good on that CEO for not giving in. Don’t give them an inch. If they have an issue there are plenty of other companies to work for.
This is a precedent that needs to be set.
They already gave them some concessions. They’re back for more. They gave them an inch and they’re coming for the full mile.

I've always felt Rogan presented himself as opinion with experts espousing their opinions.
Most talking head networks go out of their way to make themselves look like they are presenting actual news when they are presenting opinion.

Enjoy your next book burning.
CNN lies to their own viewers every day. Why don’t you demand that we censor their bullshite?

LOL, if I were the CEO I would downsize the Manhattan operation and move it to Texas.

I can promise you that there are thousands of people with a tech background that would happily take their places.

I can't think of a better way to slim down on expenses than letting these morons walk out and then fire them.

Until 15 minutes ago Americans believed the answer to free speech you disagree with is more free speech. Even Leftists subscribed to this obvious view before this Orwellian Progressive Woke Mob movement came along and started metaphorically burning witches and banning books.
It would suck to be so certain your argument can’t withstand critical scrutiny that you feel you have to ban all competing ideas and punish the person who said it. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be such a limp Democrat pussy hat wearing Progtard.
