Speaking of El Chapo... Would you have sat on the Jury if you got picked?

Or would you have found a way out of it?

I would have shite in my pants the first day and been dismissed.

Does it come with a witness protection type deal?

Depends on how much El Chapo was going to pay for my not guilty vote.
Posted on 2/12/19 at 12:23 pm to TechDawg2007
Absolutely would have set on the jury. My vote would be not guilty and I would have been very vocal about it so everyone knows where I stood.

frick no. I'd have declared allegiance to ISIS during voire dire than risk being chosen for that jury.

Everyone says this not thinking about the FBI/CIA spooks that would disappear you in a heartbeat for something like this.

Not no, but frick no.

I wouldn't even trust witness protection these days with the leaks and incompetence we have in our government bodies.

Yep
I would have voted him not guilty to the crimes brought against him though

I think wearing a Build the Wall t-shirt to court would have been just as effective in getting you stricken from the panel.

For the amount of money and juice that his cartel has, I would imagine WitPro would be about this efficient:

I've often thought that one of the main reasons OJ was acquitted was the fear the jury had in retribution from the "community" had they convicted him .

Jurors are being hidden. Which i'm sure some stupid corrupt judge will let a lawyer force them to be public. Then you have the one idiot, like the other poster, that would be all over the news. He'll get kidnapped to then have the others ratted out. Then he will be the pos type that will do it for money then others get killed. Vicious cycle...
I know they use the whole right to face your accusers" deal that gets used to put pressure on witnesses. Is that required for jurors though?? Dont know why it's important for the criminal to know who is on the jury.
