Ever been in a nuke plant?
The regulations are extreme with no logical purpose. No one is stealing a core in a lunchbox and walk out alive. Adjust the regulations to construct and operate…..reduce the upfront overall costs.

BREC golf course uses 900k per day?!?
100k is a third of 300k which was said to be the average.
A lot of water regardless

300k is what the average golf course uses, I say pretty much every course no matter location uses 100k in water per day

The regulations are what they are. Trump implemented the Advance Act and now the NRC has restructured but regulations don’t just disappear overnight. Data centers are needed yesterday. SMRs are still nuclear reactors. They need protections, engineering, maintenance, security, cyber security, operations, procurement, EP. All of that exists at current nuclear facilities. GE and Westinghouse want to build them but they can’t just go anywhere.
