I dont get the outdoor kitchen.

1 - Our house is on the smaller side. I actually have more room to work and cook in the outdoor kitchen than inside the house.
2 - I smoke(trashy, yeah yeah), and my outdoor fridge is where all my beer is.
3 - We have two small kids so the TV in the living room is always on Bluey or Super Kitties. I can watch whatever game or show I want outside while I'm cooking.
4 - It's covered and I have 3 fans for the summer and a heater and a fire pit for the winter.
5 - I do 99% of the cooking for the family because my wife(no pics) thinks bell peppers are like jalapenos and black pepper is spicy. Combine all of the above, and my outdoor kitchen is my domain

Not sure what yall are doing that takes so long to clean these. Just got mine for Xmas and I haven’t pulled out my Primo XL since. I cook multiple meals at one time on mine so it makes that process a lot faster than what I can cook inside in a wok or my cast iron. I basically just scrape the griddle clean while hot and then when it cools down a bit wipe with a paper towel. Rub a light layer of oil on and put it away. Much faster than the time it takes for me to clean multiple pans inside. If it’s that much hassle to clean, you’re doing it wrong.

I have a 20” or something like that. Got it for $100 new on Woot. Have used it maybe 7-8 times.

Fiancé and I love smash burgers on the blackstone, but it is hot as hell and a real process start to finish, at least for me. I have to clean the thing right after cooking otherwise it gets all ficked up and a bigger pain to clean up if I put it off.

I use my traeger and reverse sear with a cast iron skillet on the stove for pretty much any meat I need to cook and sear.

Burgers? Nope, open flame.
Steaks? Same.
Chicken? Same - but more distance from flame.
Pork? Same - but more distance from flame.

And you don't have to stink up your kitchen. One obvious benefit.

My biggest issue with them is they’re outside and it’s fricking miserable out there 80% of the year down here.

If people think my posts are bad, all they have to do is take a look at yours and mine don’t look nearly as bad.

Large BS is pretty awesome. Smash burgers can be made quicker than my charcoal grill can heat up. Clean up just water while hot, scrape let dry and oil. Clean up also requires an extra beer or two..

I still like a good charcoal grilled burger or steak too!

You can cook (like you would in a kitchen) while getting destroyed by heat and mosquitos …. What’s not to like?
