I spent probably about 8 nights on one through the different kids and didn’t think it was that bad. The nurse coming in every hour doesn’t really allow you to sleep that well but I wasn’t really uncomfortable.

Rookie mistake. Don't make it into a bed.

Wear a wool trench coat. Use it as your pillow. Throw an arm over your eyes. Kick your feet up, boots on, on the other end.

The nurses always laugh at my snoring and how well I'm sleeping.

I’m in over thirty days with my kids. Mattress by the window is fine, it Is that rocker they have. A man needs his chair.

They are luxury compared to what they had at the old Women's hospital. Get over it.

Get over it. My husband so excited to hold his new baby boy (twice) and baby girl. He didn’t care where he was sleeping as long as everyone was healthy and happy. You sound very self involved and not daddy material.

Why are you still there? I’d go home and get one of the last decent nights of sleep. It’s not like it’s your first kid.

Tell your wife to order a milkshake. You can't get them downstairs, only delivered to the moms.

Wait. You stayed over night? I mean your wife and kid are being waited on hand and foot by a fleet of nurses. You should have bounced right after that cord was cut to go enjoy your last quiet night ever at your pad.

Your wife just had her vagina ripped open as a living human being was yanked through her body

You can put up with a firm sofa for a couple nights

I slept on the floor after the couch gave me back spasms.
That was only hours 12-23 of labor though. The first 12 hours was simply fantastic

Congratulations, you’re also both a pussy and dumb for spending that time with your newborn and wife according to the majority of respondents here. They’re all full of shite and I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who has had back problems from these things.

My wife had a rough c-section and had to stay at women’s two weeks, and I stayed there with her the entire time. The only time I left the hospital was to go home to shower and get more clothes.

I slept on that “bed” for 2 weeks.

I’m 100% sure I have permanent back injuries now lol.
