Getting a water stain out of wood

Posted by skyisfalln on 6/15/25 at 4:53 pm
One of our children spilled water on a wood nightstand and the water ran under the glass top that is there to protect to wood. The water stayed trapped between the glass and the wood. We have no idea how long it sat. Cool air from a hair dryer has helped but has not remedied the situation. Online has different suggestions form Mayo to a warm iron on a microfiber cloth and mixing oil and vinegar. Any suggestions or experiences with these different remedies? Thanks!

I had it about 1p years ago. Did PT and everything else they mentioned - frozen water bottle, exercises, rest, etc, what cured it was dry needling.

HB5 passed the Senate today w/o amendments. It will eventually make it to the gov’s desk. Bill doesn’t state an effective date so it would become law Aug 1. It applies to events at post secondary education. It was a measure by Charles Owen (R-Rosepine).
SB255 by Fields has passed both Houses and was brought at the request Landry and Murrill. It redraws the LASC map and creates a second black majority district. It’s to effectuate a settlement in litigation brought by the NAACP.

Cypremort Point

Going fishing there this week with kids. Never been before. Any advice or what to expect? I’ve looked at what’s available on the website. The website has an alert about water monitoring and an advisory but it doesn’t say what the advisory is about. And where to buy bait? Internet search isn’t showing many options.
I worked for the La Public Defender Board for four years, roughly ten years ago. This fight has been going on for a long time. But this is the first gov. who will probably make it happen.
It is where Aletha Dr. In Park Forest Sub. ends at Greenwell Spring Rd. Aletha is the street that Park Forest Middle is on. I grew up in Park Forest and remember that the place was never very busy.
