There is a concerted effort to steer certain types of people into the service so when the times comes there won't be any questioning of killing citizens.

With cocIne it makes sense no sense. With heroin.... certain junkies will hear that someone overdosed and know that dealer has strong smack. Overdoses don't hurt heroin dealers. Often why heroin dealers often catch murder charges.

I was going to say exactly this. And this isn’t limited to addicts…..look at all the people that were desperate to get Blue Bell ice cream even though it killed several people.

Sucks for those kids

Adults in a Service Academy. If they don't get the UCMJ thrown at them, and just receive expulsions, they should count themselves fortunate.

God damn....how much fentanyl has to be concentrated in a line of cocaine for that to happen? I seriously have no idea and wonder if it is common.

It only takes fent the size of a couple grains of sand to OD.

OK so to me it seems like it would be very hard for the average drug dealer, or drug kingpin, to cut cocaine in such a way that most, if not all of it, wouldn't run a very high chance of causing an OD for the user.

With that said like someone before said I don't understand why a drug dealer would want to cause an OD for their customers....seems to me that would be bad for business.

Part of the issue is we call and expect 18 year olds in college to act like big kids, then act surprised when those kids make it into an elite service academy and do dumb stuff.

We should be holding every 18 year old to that standard, but also treating them like adults with everything that entails.

Eta: that said I expect and hope they get and receive a full dose of UCMJ.

I don't know how much is too much, but I know that if someone gets enough on their skin they can OD. I think cops have to wear PPE if there is a chance they will be in the presence of it.

This is exactly why I don’t do blow anymore. Never know what it’s cut with.

Well that and I’m old and washed up now and wouldn’t even know where to get it

That's what I'm thinking. The cartels don't have an interest in their product killing people after one use, the want them dying after years of use....more money that way. Might be some dead dealers dying from lead poisoning.

Per the DEA, the fentanyl crisis began in 2014 and has been steadily increasing and diversifying since….but sure, this is all Biden.
