Vatnajökull in Iceland was just something to behold.
Grand Canyon is amazing as well.

The GC is incredible, so large it looks fake.
The Pyramids, Coliseum, Parthenon and places like that for man-made endeavors are hard to beat, but nature is undefeated.

Royal Gorge
I liked Royal Gorge more than the Grand Canyon, and the Crazy Horse Memorial more than Rushmore. The biggest thrill for me with Rushmore was seeing it from a distance. Very cool.

Anything in Alaska.
I’ve tried explaining this to people. We spent two weeks there recently. I stopped taking pics on day four or five. Everything there is so ridiculous that it becomes normal. Most extraordinary place I’ve ever been.
ETA: Grand Teton National Park is life changing. Can’t recommend beers on Dornan’s porch at sunset enough.

Lake Louise and Lake O’Hare outside Banff. If you hike to the top and overlook them it is spectacular

A NASCAR race, I was a big fan back when Senior and Junior were racing. Went to the Texas race and you can't appreciate how fast those guys are going until you see it in person.

Grand Canyon for sure. The Na Pali coast of Kauai also has that effect on me.

I genuinely did not grasp the height of skyscrapers until I went to Chicago and visited the Sears tower (it's not Willis damnit).
Then you need to head to Asia because there’s skyscrapers over there a hell of a lot more impressive than the Willis Tower.

USS Arizona Memorial
Was coming to post Pearl Harbor and couldn't believe it took this many pages for someone to mention.
Absolutely surreal being there. I had the benefit of being there with someone in the military so I had access to things others wouldn't. Seeing the airfields and barracks that were attacked, still with bullet holes in them, insane.
Even without that access, seeing the Arizona and the rest of the harbor, seeing the fortifications on diamond head. Speechless.

Seconded.
The Canadian Rockies in general. The sheer beauty brought tears to my eyes.

In general, the Western US has way more incomprehensible sights than does the Eastern US.
Yes, once you see the Grand Canyon, you will no longer think Little River Canyon in Alabama is the best.
Once you see the Rockies, or even the Sierras, the Appalachians are no longer that overly impressive.
Once you see a giant sequoya or a coastal redwood in person, you will no longer think that one giant pine tree in your favorite state park is the biggest in the world.
Once you visit Yosemite Valley and are surrounded by 3000 foot high granite monoliths and waterfalls, you will no longer be impressed by that rocky outcrop that you only notice in the winter when the leaves on the tress have dropped.
All that being said, nature in of itself has a million wonderful views all over the world that need to be seen.. I wish I could see them all.

I did. It was fantastic. Also was a day where it was partly cloudy and was high enough up clouds were passing by.

Niagra, as others have said, best appreciated from the Canadian side. It's been years, the last time I went you didn't need a passport. Could just walk back and forth.
I'll toss something in not yet mentioned- Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. It's just surreal.

The Pentagon in Washington D C.-exterior and interior. Even has a shopping mall type area in the inner most ring.

1. Looe Key Reef about 6 miles out from Big Pine Key, Florida. The amount of color and life on the reef is amazing. The moment that had me in complete awe was when my dad and I were at the edge of the reef where it dropped off into the deep blue. We dove down far enough where the reef wall was behind us. Looking down it just dropped off into nothing and same as you looked out away from wall. In the distance we saw a lone Great Hammerhead cruising slowly by. It was off a good ways but still looked huge. Had to be every bit of 16 to 18 feet. It was beautiful and just glided by. Was so in awe that the thought of fear never once crossed my mind.
2. Grand Canyon
3. Alaska
4. Red Rock Canyon
5. Soon to be Iceland in few weeks.

The first time you see a woman naked, in person. You understand that your life has changed in a profound way.
