Talladega on a packed April race weekend
One of the things I have gotten to do that was strangely incomprehensible was the Talladega racing experience.
A: walking on that track and seeing just how tall and steep those banked turns are is inane. Nothing I had ever seen on TV gave even a remote representation. I had even been to the race before and it was still mind blowing just how tall and steep they really were.
B: Actually driving the car at 165+ headed directly towards that same bank for the first time is unreal and then the feeling when it sticks like glue and runs through it is indescribable.
I've been blessed to get to see and do some amazing things in life, but that was definitely one that really shocked me at how cool it really was.

I use to think Old Faithful was dumb until I saw that it was a cloud generator.
The steam in the cold air creates rain. All to make life have a chance to grow over a thermal volcanic terrain.
I get the argument for molecular intelligence of fungi, but I don’t see how anyone can’t see that this condition isn’t intelligent design.

Mount Rainier. Was cloudy for days and it appeared on the horizon when I was taking the ferry back to Seattle.
