as soon as liberals took total control over media, education, and the courts, they started their crusades to remove god and faith from all forms of our lives and learning centers (only the ones about peace, morality, and forgiveness, but NOT the ones based on hate that is)

then they wonder why kids are going around killing because they have no morals or sense of values

Not once have I ever said your speech should be banned. I want you to speak your mind. I’m not the authoritarian here. What you believe does not threaten my beliefs in the slightest, nor does it influence them. Similarly, I am sure the same can be said about me. I hold no magic amulet to influence opinions on matters as big as these. I just don’t think it’s worthy of getting my parties in a wad because someone espouses something different in belief to that of myself. If diversity threatens you, maybe it’s your unbelief that’s truly not very strong.

Lol people haven’t taken Christ out of Easter. Your problem is you judge daily life based off social media.

Bunny’s or a mythical figure who people think rose from the dead. What’s the difference?

Lots of folks in this thread better enjoy their life, because it's the last one they'll ever have.

I feel sorry for them.

The White House Easter Egg Roll officially dates back to 1878 and the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes, but first-hand accounts suggest that informal festivities began with egg-rolling parties under President Abraham Lincoln. Starting in the 1870s, Easter Monday celebrations on the U.S. Capitol’s west grounds grew so popular that President Ulysses S. Grant signed a bill that banned the rolling of eggs on Capitol grounds, citing landscape concerns.

In 1878, a group of bold children walked up to the White House gate, hoping to be allowed to play egg-rolling games there. President Hayes told his guards to let the children enter, and soon Easter Monday on the White House grounds became an annual tradition. President Benjamin Harrison added music to the festivities in 1889 with the United States Marine Band.

We've been Godless Easter Egg picture takers for a while now.

This country has gone down hill on morals, manners, etc. because heaven forbid we piss off a ethnic group or foreigner that enters OUR country.

So good morals and proper manners calls for insensitivity to minorities and exclusion of immigrants?

I feel like that’s the opposite result of the thing your calling for.

Who the hell are you on Facebook with. I’ve scrolled by a hundred “he is risen” or Jesus on a cross images or a crown of thorns image?

Easter is a pagan holiday first and foremost (having been named after Astarte after all) and is actually all about frickin', hence the bunnies and eggs

In other words, HE IS RISEN

Don't make statements about things you don't know. The X in Xmas is the Greek letter X, or Chi. Chi is the first letter of Christ's name in Greek. That's where Xmas came from.

Easter is the pagan celebration of sex and fertility. Christianity absorbed it in the 4th century.

So technically, Christians took the sex out of Easter.

I have church with my family at my house. I can avoid the fakeness that way.

I don’t like how Easter is the new Christmas with all kinds of toys. PlayStation games shouldn’t be a part of an Easter basket for kids. Stick to candy.
