Home owners shouldn't be subjected to blown eardrums while defending themselves in their own homes, you think that .45 is loud outside imagine trying to focus for a second shot after blasting that thing in your bedroom.

A suppressor is an incredibly simple devise. It's a tube with baffles that threads onto a firearm barrel. If someone really wanted to use a suppressor all they have to do is make one.
All of the regulations on suppressors is the more perplexing thing to me.

Honestly there isn't a need, but it's but like you can't get one.

After reading this thread I’ve come to the conclusion that assault silencers should be banned but regular silences are fine.

Silencers are not nearly as effective as they are portrayed in the movies to where they make that cute little "pew" sound. Just doesn't work like that.
Silencers are good for hearing safety but are also very neighborly when you're picking off coyotes on your land at 2am or shooting targets on a Saturday afternoon.

There are two kinds of people:
1) Those that have experience and knowledge with regards to firearms.
2) People that only know about firearms from movies and TV shows.
You are clearly #2 because you think a “silencer” makes the same sound that has been used by foley artists since the 70’s in TV and movies.
It doesn’t work like that.
