And anybody with half a brain takes any of those qb's listed over Pavia every single time. Kid is definitely full of shite but he can ball

There's a lot of truth in what you're saying. Like for me you couldn't give me another CA but some have had good experiences. Im the right opposite on Bergara. Ive had great luck with their rifles but some say they've slipped. If a rifle feels good to you buy it. If it doesn't shoot like you'd like then either send it back or send it down the road. keep the shooters and let someone else deal with the ones that won't. That goes for any brand
Heck of a deer! Congratulations!

yeah tell me bout it. I bought that tripod when my oldest girl started hunting to help her and now I’ve started using the sucker on places I can shoot over a couple 100 yards or so. It’s handier than I thought for us old folks lol

I can provide insight. Ive got one in 6mm Creed and it's the most accurate rifle ive ever owned. Ive owned their PH2 and several Bergara's as well as own several Tikka's currently. IMHO the Seekins is the most rifle for the money when you consider what you're getting. Even better is for $500 you can order barrels and swap them yourself at home. It's a true switch barrel set up.

I can't really see the pro's to them. It looks like you'd still be pretty tied to straight limbless trees. At that point you might as well use a climber. I thought us duck guys were gadget and gear whores but we don't hold a light to saddle guys

Ive had 2 of them. Both of them had to go back to CA. One came back and would get 1" with one factory ammo I found. The other shot no better when I got it back than it did went I sent it in. Apparently 1.5" groups is within their specs. I got rid of both. Too many better options in that price range. Go with Seekins or Tikka and you'll be well satisfied. CA makes rifles for folks who want people to think they have a nice rifle. Seekins builds rifles to be shooters. Same for Tikka. If you want a ready to go rig buy the Seekins. If you want a lower price rifle that can you can make upgrades to later on buy the Tikka

Wild dogs

About the scariest thing to encounter in the woods in the south other than a methhead is a pack of wild dogs. I have a very low tolerance for dealing with them as in I refuse to deal with a pack of wild dogs. They aren't afraid of us like yotes and bears and such

SilencerCo Omega 300 would work good. They're a little heavier than some cans but they have good sound and less than $600. Ive got a couple on rifles that they're dedicated too

Its almost laughable how ignorant some are to the .243. Its one of the most popular antelope and mule deer rounds yet alot of Southern hunters think whitetails are immune to them

Wasn’t he the DC that everyone said had a great scheme but it was too difficult to get the kids there to understand it?
And now the Super Vinci's have finally fallen to 2nd place as the world's ugliest duck guns  Geez that thing is ugly. Why gun companies have to make things way more complicated than they need to be. Beretta goes from one of the best looking guns made to the worst looking and ups the price to higher than any other semi auto smh

Nothing short of a damn shame how difficult they make it to get a can. Hopefully that change is coming. They absolutely should be sold in blister packs or a grab bin beside the register at every gun store

I agree wholeheartedly on the elk. If I went on an elk hunt tomorrow I absolutely would be carrying a larger rifle. Just never felt the need on whitetails. Congrats on a great season last year and good luck on this years as well

But in the age of suppressors, why limit yourself to a .243 or less? Even a kid can shoot a 300 mag with a suppressor.

Bc even with a can the recoil is still there albeit not quite as much. A suppressed 300wm is still going to have a good kick. Take it from someone who just set 3 scopes on 3 different lightweight 7PRC's this morning. They were all suppressed and after a few shots you definitely notice it affecting you. We all shoot better with less recoil. Doesn't matter who you are. My balls have dropped enough to know it don't take a howitzer to kill a 175lb deer. My deer hunting this year will be done with a Tikka .223 and 77gr TMK's and a Seekins PH3 in 6mm Creedmoor shooting 105gr Berger's and im more than confident that they'll do their part if I do mine

I made a separate post so folks could see it. Stocky's is having their Veteran's Day sale going on right now. 30% off with code Veteran30. Great option for someone wanting to upgrade their rifle stocks. Ive got a couple Manners and Mcmillans along with a couple AG Composites and the Stocky VG's are the best bang for your buck that ive found in a sporter or vertical grip stock either one. I grabbed me one for my 16" Tikka .223
