Shreveport has the best road system anywhere in the state and it’s not even close.

Used to have business there. I agree. Faults aplenty but it is a very well laid out metro.

This is a continuation of the one partial loop they currently have. The OT is on loop counting crack.

Shreveport was supposed to be a large city and then it wasn’t, but the road system was always planned.

This latest addition feels like money laundering.

I-220 is a loop. Ironically, Bert Kouns Interloop isn't.

For all of Shreveports faults it is super easy to get around. I do wonder if this 3rd loop is even necessary though.

Don’t forget the new Jimmie Davis Bridge.

Between the population shrinkage, and all the new roads and bridges, soon Shreveport will have the best road system in the world.
Nothing but wide open lanes, with only a handful of people driving on them.

Just looked at a map. Maybe I’m used to 410 in San Antonio and 610 in Houston, but this Loop #3 looks like a completion of one loop.

Much easier to build a Bridge over the smaller Red River than the Mighty Mississippi River.

How in the frick does Shreveport have a 3rd loop and BR can’t get one?

I know this, even with a new bridge, the folks on the West Bank with WBR and Iberville parish will not agree to where it should be.it amazes me that there are such little bitches in politics that people can’t just come together and say, let’s get this done

I agree. But didn't they also have bitches in Baton Rouge too saying not in my back yard? Especially the proposal near Bluebonnet.
