Which Baton Rouge would be supremely happy with. And as you should know, the Houston "loops" tend to disconnect in the Southeast, not that anyone cares. It takes over an hour to drive across this mess in a straight line with no traffic, nobody wants to make it 1.5 hours.

This is not true both 610 and B8 make complete loops.
But I agree BR traffic sucks, and so does Houston traffic

Yea I haven't looked at the map and in my head I was trying to figure where it would go and I couldn't think of a good spot. I was thinking maybe it was just going to run the distance that the bossier parkway runs now (all the way to Sligo), but not really sure what any good that would do for the benefit of the Shreveport side without a bridge.
But going over the Jimmie Davis if you look south you can see the parkway extending with black top off into the woods parallel with the river.
