Damn, the one thing that living in this crap hole of a city and state is that the commies wouldn't want to come here and now I won't even have that!

Shreveport is the NYC of the South.

Back during the Civil War era, it was actually a pretty big deal, but then the rest of the country happened.

Shreveport better prepare for a murder rate increase after those foos try to take territory. Just like Houston after Katrina. All them refugees moved in and the murder rate went up 250%

Are you suggesting that such a scenario would only benefit him?

As hard as it is for me to say, 50 Cent is the best thing to happen to Shreveport in a long time.

Why is that hard to say?

I wouldn’t have blamed him for moving, but for now, he says he’s staying and just moving Fatty’s

O dang i didn't realize he was the reason they were moving. They're moving next to Strange Brew right? Going to be a completely different vibe than what made Fatty's unique.

frick that. Stay in fricking New York and reap what you sow. Louisiana is shitty enough without more democrats

Aint no one trading NYC for Shreveport. There would have to be some end of the world type apocalypse for that to happen.

It's definitely a celebrity vanity project, but I'm always happy when people invest in Louisiana.

Things were looking up during the Haynesville boom, really wasn't too bad. Now going back there for work, definitely has taken a turn for the worst. I made the mistake of booking a room at one of the casinos, quite depressing.

We already did after Katrina. The 9th Ward refugees was the nail in the coffin for Shreveport.

Think most of that area is empty now.

We used to drive down it in HS sometimes in the late 70s, early 80s. Got chased out once.
