Its really a shame how much the left hates living in the US. My X feed right now is flooded with foreigners in the US raving about how great this country is how everything and everyone they have come into contact with has been so nice and inviting. they are touring around to all the national sites and raving about how great they are. But then you have the left wing wackos spewing how terrible the US is. screw them

Yeah, I'm loving all the videos. It's really cool seeing foreigners fawning over our culture

I found myself pulling for the Iranian team after thinking of how surreal it must be for the players, and proud of our country for treating them well. I CANNOT stand this kind of outlook. These players and most of our populations don't want the strife. frick the author of this article

They didn't say this about the WMNT.

They're shaming the men for not being vocal about their politics.

Anyone not rooting for the US can suck a dick. I'm also cheering for a couple other nations due to family history, but until the US is eliminated I want us to win.

Same. I pull for Scotland and Germany for family/heritage reasons. Plus, Germany typically has a much better team than the USMNT. The World Cup is a different animal than the Olympics, in my opinion. Probably because I'm not as interested in soccer, but I know the US is going to be inferior against the field. So it's a bit of a hedge against losing ALL interest in the WC when the inevitable happens.

Hey, a lot of folks quit pulling for the women's soccer team

90% of that was due to the America-hating Andy Warhol lookalike who didn't know when to STFU.....

They were well organized and disciplined. Easy to respect a group that can keep it together well under the obvious stress of the situation.

I have no real allegiances in college and pro sports, but I won’t ever pull against the USA in anything.

I’m not going to jerk off if they win or cry if they lose because I don’t have shite to do with it - but I do hope the USA wins in everything.

Most of these liberal journalists or reddit moderators were scrawny beta males who were too lazy and weak to participate in sports.

They do the same shite over and over again to be edgy weather it's hating things like "white supremacy", toxic masculinity, patriotism, capitalism, etc simply because the "jocks" did better than them in life.

It's why you always see Hollywood writers portraying "dumb jocks" eventhough data shows students in sports tend to have better grades and higher incomes in older age compared to students who didn't. It's a tale as old as time.

I'm pulling for the US and the UK all the way to the point that they will have to play each other on July 4th. Then we get to watch all hell break loose between us and the Brits again on our country's 250th celebration of Independence Day from England. This is what I want to see come out of this World Cup thingy.

Only in women’s World Cup. But I don’t feel guilty about it at all.

fully separating politics and sports is almost impossible. It requires fans to view athletes as nothing more than bodies who exist to perform on the field. It

99 percent of Americans go to work every day and don’t discuss politics in a professional environment because to do so is unprofessional. Why do athletes get to be unprofessional just because they kick a ball.

The political tribalism of many Americans is a pox (I think an engineered pox) on this country and we need learn how to be comfortable disagreeing with each other.

I don’t care 2 farts about soccer, but I hope we win.
