Currently live in Dallas. Got a job offer in Austin, 3K pay raise, better 401k. No kids. Slampiece in Dallas. What’s the OT say?

Eh, it's comparable. It's entirely up to the OP. Personally I'd pick Dallas just because it's more my speed than the keep Austin weird vibe, but that's completely subjective. Financially it's pretty much a toss up.

What does the OP value? Outdoor activities, great music scene? If so then Austin.. if he wants a bigger city with a better airport to fly wherever in the world you want to go (from Austin you almost always have a layover), professional sports venues? Then Dallas might be better.
Unless you’re kind of entry level, $3k either way wouldnt be a determining factor.
