I like that he didn’t apologize!!
Too many people apologize for crap they don’t have to. If someone made threats to me or my family I’d probably do what Randy did. Good for him.

Couvillion ran his mouth about Randy’s wife. Randy did what 95% of us would’ve done. His issue is that he is an elected official.

Lots of elected officials don't go out in public places because of the chance of stupidity happening. This dumbass did it anyway and made it all worse for himself by getting drunk. That was a serious error in judgement and he doesn't need to remain as a sheriff because of it

Yet every single poll gives him the highest favorability by double digits. He’s the top law enforcement guy in a pro-cop parish. Yes, his image has taken a hit. But the crowd is split 50-50 on whose side to take.

Being a sheriff in Louisiana often leads to riches. Smith will never voluntarily resign.
