I see there's at least 4 gay puppeteers in the audience

Who cares what the inspiration was for Bert and Ernie? There is nothing sexual about their relationship on the show. As far as any kid knows, they are just roommates.
If your kids asks you about their relationship (I’m not really sure any Kindetgartener would even ask) then you just say they are friends who share an apartment.

I think three generations of kids have already been making jokes for decades about Bert and Ernie.
Well sure...once you’re older.
But little kids already have too much exposure to things they don’t need.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting them to maintain their innocence a little longer.
That childhood bliss...it’s over so soon. The cruel reality of the world will Become clear to them soon enough. Just let kids be kids

Who keeps their innocence longer?
The kid who's allowed to watch sesame street and wear nikes because his parents don't get incensed by every little thing,
Or the kid who's parents instruct him the nike's he wanted for his birthday and that sesame street are now banned in their household for political reasons

The kid who plays outside and builds forts and catches bugs and rides their bike over makeshift ramps and camps out and goes fishing and stuff rather than sitting inside watching TV all day probably.
I don’t care about the Nike Thing other than thinking it’s stupid to make a hypocrite non-athlete the face of your program. I didn’t stop wearing anything.
But I do take offense with people retroactively trying to change other people’s creations. Especially when it involves kids.

Ernie is definitely a power bottom.

Why was it so confusing for you?
It’s not your fault.
It’s NOT your fault.

No way man. Bert is definitely a power-bottom.

What is the point?
Are they gonna have skits where they show Ernie getting poled up the arse?
Sick fricks on the Left - who cares if a puppet is gay
I mean, they literally only come to life when there's a hand up their arse.

Try convincing an army of brats that Barbie's not a "girl" and get back to us, Gulliver.

I feel sorry for what you were exposed to as a young child to know this.
They reminded me of Archie bunker an Edith.
Just an old bickering married couple.
Sorry you aren't intuitive.

It was the same thing like the old Batman stories with Robin. Jokes taken too far. But everyone knew they were just a stereotypical odd couple. This is lame.
