Explain homosexuality, and the difference from heterosexuality, in a non-sexual way.

FIL, god bless his soul, always told me that he feared the direction this country was headed and expressed concern for each of his grandchildren, his concerns were well founded, it frustrated him having sacrificed so much to watch it all slip away so quickly...

How is that different from what Sesame Street already professed? We all love each other.

When you put this aberrant behaviour front and center in media developed for kids and then sexualize it, you are pushing the sexual aspect on it. And not even the natural aspect, which they might learn from watching animals or being on the farm. That’s normal stuff...where babies come from and all that.

This stuff is way above their level. How are you gonna explain that some men like to bugger each other out of where they poop. (And i’m not saying It’s wrong in and of itself. Everyone’s got their own kinks.)

But exposing children to this level of sexuality is wrong.

And as much as you might try to deny it that is the agenda here. Normalizing aberration.

And my comprehension obviously exceeds whatever pitiful level you possess.

Everyone needs to put their pitchforks down, extinguish their torches, and go home. No more outrage mob today.

A few things.
1) Bert and Ernie are barely on the Sesame Street TV show now. They're still featured in books and on apps, etc....
2) If you remember Bert and Ernie as being prominent you probably watched Sesame Street when this writer says he wrote them as gay. Did that overly sexualize you? Did it turn you into a pervert?
3) The Sesame Street TV show, live show, games, books, dolls, etc... have never addressed that Bert and Ernie may or may not be gay. Your kids have no idea.

Now. If Sesame Street does an episode that addresses their sexuality, that is a different story. Outrage mob OFF [ON].

I can't read all this and explain it to you. Maybe you should have watched the shaw and learned something.

If they aren't any different from when I watched it in the 80's, there is nothing to explain. Kids aren't watching a gay agenda if the characters aren't gay. You are clutching pearls for nothing.

I have absolutely no problem saying that this crap triggers me. Yes and it should trigger anyone with a young child who may watch this.

You keep imagining this scenario that isn't going to happen. Do you really believe that a kid is going to come up to you and ask you how to guys like to frick? Is the same child going to come up to you and ask you how a man and a woman frick each other? The kid doesn't even realize that fricking someone is an option. You're just projecting your own prejudices upon some kid that wouldn't even give a frick.
