A few things.
1) Bert and Ernie are barely on the Sesame Street TV show now. They're still featured in books and on apps, etc....
2) If you remember Bert and Ernie as being prominent you probably watched Sesame Street when this writer says he wrote them as gay. Did that overly sexualize you? Did it turn you into a pervert?
3) The Sesame Street TV show, live show, games, books, dolls, etc... have never addressed that Bert and Ernie may or may not be gay. Your kids have no idea.

Now. If Sesame Street does an episode that addresses their sexuality, that is a different story. Outrage mob OFF [ON].

I one hundred percent agree with this post. However, I will be "triggered" if they want to push the gay agenda for no other reason than to have kids start questioning themselves. Hell almost every kid will think he or she is gay. As most young kids think the opposite sex have cooties. They also tend to idolize their older counterparts. If they are taught/exposed to gay love then they may believe these totally normal, non sexual feelings, mean they are gay. Let's allow kids to grow up and if somehow they feel they are attracted to the same sex when they are older then so be it. That's a whole separate discussion. That doesn't mean you don't teach your kids to treat all people with love and respect.
