in this church's eyes, it would be like someone admitting to being a murderer and telling everyone that they will continue to murder people and will not change
A better analogy would be the guy who cheats on his wife, then brings his mistress to church. A murderer is going to be in jail.
Anyhow, divorce and adultery are sins, but churches are full of those folks, sometimes even the pastors.

All churches have just as many shitty people in them as any other place on earth does.
How many hypocrites drink grape juice for communion?

I'm not really all that religious, but I'm glad I was raised Catholic. I was never taught to be quite as judgmental and "black and white" about you're going to heaven or you're going to hell as the "Christian" churches appear. I'm already a judgmental a-hole as it is, I couldn't imagine what I'd be if I had an entire upbringing backing me up on it
I feel the same way. I was raised Catholic however I am of the belief that I make my own faith decisions on what is right or wrong. I still go to Catholic Mass, but I have tried other churches and have used others in the past to help build my faith.
To exclude someone from a service is shocking to me.
I understand Catholic church asking non-catholics to not take communion kinda (transubstantiation bruhs) but to tell someone not to come to the service at all is ridiculously unchristian.
I've met people who consider themselves to be very Christian say some very discouraging things about others. I understand the whole "You are who you associate with" stance, but at the same time you should always have an open mind and accept anyone trying to better their faith.

I'm surprised by the number of people here who actually believe homosexuality is a sin.
I mean, what is a sin? Most of the "sins" everyone can get behind because they tend to fall in line with our morality. But what makes someone believing that homosexuality is a sin different than "coveting they neighbor", etc.. When people 100% believe everything in a book that's full of stories from thousands of years ago, I tend to not question or be surprised by what they think is right or wrong.

Lets imagine that a gay man sneaks into the back of a Baptist church one Sunday and secretly takes in the day's services. Does the service somehow no longer valid. Do all of the church patrons need to repeat the process, without the gay?

Oh yeah, that book that is chock full of hypocrisy?
So God assesses it as a sin, but just not a big enough one to put in the 10 laws he personally handed down to Moses. He instead decided to pass the message on through some shady nomads that lived hundreds of years after Jesus.

Im testing speech recognition . It is not working very well because I'm just starting out. So please bear with me as I'm trying to do this myself. There was a day once high when I was a young man. I thought of things that were great single Randa were but I never really acted on them until I was older and my older I mean 23. That was a fabulous moment in my life. Wouldn't you say? With all of this in mind I would like to formally submit this as my response two weather and not be a decent should be allowed in the TR TR. Thank you and had a fabulous day. Answer
