You’re asking the posters to prove to you that racial slurs said or texted by minorities don’t get reported as statewide news stories.
No I’m not. I’m asking them to show me where racist texts at the school were allowed without firing the employee. I haven’t once commented on the news worthy nature of the story. This lady’s actions don’t really tell the story of any double standard. That’s all I’ve commented on.

They are asking you to believe a hypothetical is fact.
No They aren’t. They are reacting to this specific story by deflecting to a societal double standard that exists because they want to excuse or obfuscate or simply deflect away from this racist to their own preferred racial topic of the double standard.

Because none of those are ever used. “Bigot”, “racist”, and phrases like that are used instead and more damning.

I see famous black people on the breakfast club show say that we are “ crackers “ and “ smell like wet dogs” , they just laugh and laugh.

Don’t you dare slander the good people of Ouachita.

To be fair she is from Franklin Parish. I don't know that there is a huge contingent in Baskin, Wisner, Crowville, Gilbert, etc. that don't have the same mindset.

Is that what y’all are arguing about? That she shouldn’t be fired? It seems like everyone minus one or two dingus posters agree she should be fired. The disagreement seems to be over if this is newsworthy or not.

just that when you get into doxxing and public shaming on top of termination and loss of pension or anything else the punishment may be beyond the action. Id even add the coach running to the media in an attempt to dox her isn't someone you want in the work place.

How is it doxxing when the information released would already be publicly available?

I don't think anyone has argued it isn't or she doesn't deserve to be fired, only that this shouldn't be a newsworthy event.
If you track the comments I responded to, they were not about the news worthy nature of the story. They were referencing hypothetical double standard deflecting from her conduct to other issues. The other side of the dindu coin.

As do I. That is because I am not weak minded, and always looking for a reason to be offended.

That is not a decision you get to make.

Sure it is, for one, there is no historical context of the word cracker being used against white people in any oppressive or damaging fashion.

Two, we are both allowed to spell out the word on TD without fear of being banned.

Three, you aren't actually offended by the word. No one is. You just want to use a whataboutism to make yourself a victim, because you are jealous of other races being victimized.

dox - verb To publish identifying information on an individual with malicious intent.

Seems to fit the definition pretty well to me.

She could have played that off way better than that. Made it seem like she was joking instead of the apology and admitting she sent it to the wrong person. It may not have gotten her completely out of the fire, but she might have gotten some leniency in the public eye.

Plus people are going to wonder who the other person was that was intended to receive the text, and why the correspond with each other using such language. Regardless, she gone...

let’s be honest. you were going to find a way to justify it regardless. you feel you have the moral high ground, thus there are no rules when it comes to ruining someone’s life.

No. I responded to these two comments

quote:

If she were black and called someone a cracker she would have received a promotion and reparations.

quote:

Perhaps she was just quoting rap lyrics

Both of which wanted to ignore and deflect from the clear racist context of this lady’s actions to the broader societal double standard around the use of the n word.

The spirit of their arguments seemed to be that if it were reversed this wouldn't be newsworthy, so neither should this. Also that once you get into doxxing an individual for something that is legal though certainly a fireable offense the question as to where the line exists for what is too far is a fair one.
