They were on the top of a barn behind the stage with a much taller roof with a far more steep pitch.
That's actually where the SS sniper who shot the assassin was sitting.

Just another in the Biden long list of incompetent people

That is a BS excuse but even accepting that, someone should have at least been looking at the roof.

You know how many years of training it took those guys to be able to stand on that slightly angled roof! This was outside of the perimeter and the local police forces were needed to secure. They don't have the federal government resources necessary to teach a guy to stand with a bent knee.

So it was intentional. They were hoping the shooter would take him out, then kill the shooter so he can’t talk. Leftists are still happy. They got one trump supporter (who the media is ignoring) and injured two more, so it wasn’t a total loss.

Atomic waste dude who stole women's clothing, etc. received suspended sentence.
Don't call the SS head a Lady. She's far from that.
The roof slope excuse is so stupid that she must have passed it through the White House.

She should be fired for blatant lie of an excuse right there.

It is kind or surprising....or guard rails around the perimeter of the roof.
To be fair, OSHA requires that a "competent person" be watching the roof edge to ensure that people in the area are warned of it. Problem is, apparently the SS has no "competent person" available. They certainly don't have a competent person in the leadership position.

There’s a fricking safety factor? To working in the Secret Service? That offends my intelligence.

WTF? How is she not completely embarrassed to say that?

Funny part is, now the deep state will probably go after Joe since they can’t get him to go away.

This. This wasn't some grand conspiracy. This is the result of our federal agencies rotting from within. Pure incompetence.
While you might be right, when Trump was elected before a female USSS Agent was allowed to retire because she hinted on social media that she hated him, and wouldn’t take a bullet protecting him.
I’m 63, for most of my life I’ve had implicit trust in our Intelligence Agencies, except the CIA…because of a family member who retired from there.
My trust in the FBI has eroded steadily since 2016, at this point sad to say I don’t trust any of them.

Same, except I’m 57. Never in my life have I considered myself a “political” person until the sheer barrage of attacks that began taking place on Trump leading up to the 2016 election.
