I didn’t say that they had to only wear them while performing “cowboy duties”, but there are a lot of fake arse “cowboys” who have only touched a horse at a petting zoo

So running shoes only for runners...got it.

How many of you cowboy boot wearing baws have touched a horse in the past month? Year?

I wear boots daily because they look nice, are super comfortable, easy to get on and off, they're durable, and they don't set off metal detectors in airports. I couldn't tell you the first frickin thing about riding horses, and I don't give a shite if you think I'm a poser. I like my boots.

If you polled 1000 people who wear cowboy boots, do you think you would be the exception or the rule?
If you polled 1,000 people who wear tennis shoes, or athletic sneakers, how many do you think are obese and haven’t ran or worked out in ages?

Because athletic shoes also started out just like cowboy boots, for an actual purpose, but then they became a style

Haven't worn "tennis shoes" since college and have worn only western boots for over 60 years. Yes, with a suit and to weddings and funerals (like last Monday) too.

If you were evaluating him as a man with whom to do business, you would know that he values comfort over conformity and doesn't care about cheap solutions to fill known voids.
B.S. won't work with him. Adjust your act accordingly.

I wear cowboy boots everyday with my suits. Looks great and they are more comfortable than dress shoes.

I wear cowboy boots with scrubs everyday. And also with suits.

OP sounds like he tucks just the front of his shirt in and wears a flat bill hat.

Techovas lizards or calfskin ropers, daily.

Tecovas are fashion boots that primarily cater to hipsters and dudes who work in office cubicles looking for their first pair of cowboy boots.

I saw a werewolf drinkin' a piña colada at Trader Vic's.
His hair was perfect.

If it makes you feel better, I’m pretty consistent and don’t wear athletic shoes unless I’m doing something athletic
