Their interest rate was 29.87%. Paying that shite off tomorrow. Some people fall for that shite. Seems evil.

K…keep us posted that the payment cleared and they did not charge interest between the date of the charge and the payment cleared.

29% is low compared some alternative financing options out there.

Also, sometimes they offer 0% financing for 6, 12, or 18 months. But make sure you pay I before the end of that period otherwise the interest that would have been charged is deferred and added on the back end if not paid in full.

You can open a home depot account, make purchase with it, pay it off with your usual credit card and then cancel your account, all at the same time.
Used to be a 15% promotional discount.
And, you can open 3 accounts.
Saved me hundreds when I built my garage.

I know that is what I am talking about. 29% is not as high as the 36% or higher at a local credit shop, or triple digit interest people pay with a pay day loan or high interest line of credit where fees are just as expensive as the loan.

There is a place online that charges 299% interest and 10% in fees just to borrow. Payments are due bimonthly. Loans like that should be illegal if not already. Very predatory.

If you borrow from those type of places, you might be better off borrowing from the mob.

Not bad. I suggest getting a credit card from an airline company and use it to purchase a large order of steaks. You accumulate a ton of airline miles. Contaminate the steaks using live chickens and make it look like they’re spoiled. Return the steaks to the vender and get a refund. However, using a loophole in the current airline miles promotion, you’ll keep them regardless and then you can trade them in for cash.

Just thought about where short term interest rates are heading in this age of hyper inflation.

Opening a new CC will slightly ding your credit score. Subsequently closing the CC will also lower your score some as well.

I think a lot of those places are usually affiliated with native tribes and have some sort of stupid legal protections

I remember seeing something about it on netflix

Should be illegal. My friend's brother got a title loan. He got $1200. The loan was due in 30 days OR you could refinance it for $95.
So basically the loan goes up $95 every month unless you pay it off.
I wound up loaning him $850 to pay off the loan THREE YEARS AFTER he initially started it.

He paid thousands to borrow $1200.

Same dude... bought a brand new car online. No money down and then borrowed money for gas to drive it home. He delivers pizzas in a WRX STI....

I use my Home Depot card for large purchases where there is 0 interest if paid by x date. Free money if paid by x date.
