Fish that will blow salmon out the water in regards to flavor off the top of my head is wahoo, flounder, and pompano and it’s not even close

The Washington Post did a blind taste test with several chefs and food writers. To their shock, their favorite was North Atlantic Salmon farmed AF. It beat out much more expensive wild varieties.

steaming salmon with very little salt is not a very good way to cook it. I'm not sure about steaming but I find sauteing PNW destroys the natural rich flavors.

Most salmon isn’t good for you because it comes from Chilean farms, so there’s really no reason to eat it.

You have to get fresh wild caught salmon and it has to be cooked properly.

Try a cajun recipe. You want the salmon over cooked by most standards though. A creamy or tangy red sauce would be nice

Salmon is one of the best tasting fish. But for my money you can't beat rainbow trout and lake trout.

Walleye is pretty good also. Some say it's the best tasting fish on the planet. Freshwater Perch is good as well.
