Plan is to come down tomorrow or Friday hopefully with a generator for the ones in Terry Cove and to check my property out.
I hope that you have your city of Gulf Shores or city of Orange Beach "Hurricane Pass" to access the area

Thanks for the update. Were on the beach side of Ft Pickens Rd. I saw some footage from Tristan Towers earlier that was concerning. Lots of water on the sounds side, but our dunes are built up high. Fingers crossed.
If anyone gets any info on Pensacola Beach, please share.

Looks like the FloraBama took on some water overnight, which is no surprise.

30” of rain in NOLA with a mild storm surge would be worse than Katrina
The NOLA S&WB can handle that with ease. Remember They have 18 of 19 pumps working with only two broken down right now.

TV news said Fort Morgan registered 120 mph wind gust.

I haven’t heard anything from out that way, know they are pretty cut off though from flooding on Ft Morgan Rd

Anybody have word on how BBMcGee is doing? Not sure what they do with horses during events like this. Seems like the constant strong wind may spook them.

Sure do, canceled a windshield replacement so I could have my owners sticker in addition to that one I haven't put on yet.

Thanks to you & BigHurt -- we have friends who have a condo there. It was their place of solitude and her husband just died. Enough of 2020.

Went to the lobby at one of the Phoenix buildings to check on my other unit. Lobby doors and windows are blown out of all the Phoenix’s I passed. Lobby is running on generators and it is a bit of chaos. Kind of a war zone with some dedicated Brett Robinson employees doing the best they can.
So this lady walks up to the front desk with her husband and asks, “what time will the power be back on”. LOL After the desk manager explained that she didn’t know, I explained to them that we are in the eye right now and that phase 2 is coming up. The woman then told her husband, “well we probably need to just get in our car and leave now then”. LOL

Info on Turquoise?
No but I can’t imagine they had too many issues, presuming it was built properly I doubt they had any issues with the units themselves.
