4 mph is better than 2 for the rivers but it will still be close to a record if not a record for many rivers and other canals and creeks

Looking for more info on Sugar Beach, Pheonix 2 and Terry Cove.

I have two condos in Sugar Beach, and family lives in other spots. All are safe.

Plan is to come down tomorrow or Friday hopefully with a generator for the ones in Terry Cove and to check my property out.

Yeah, wasn’t even considering this scenario. That would be worse.

The winds won’t be crazy high but with as much rain saturating the ground as there’s going to be, it’ll be enough to topple some trees and power lines I would think. Shouldn’t be widespread though.

Terry Come would be the worst off I think. If they live on the water any dock or pier they have is gone. Plenty of trees down inland as well.

My dad said there are a fair amount of trees down and every time he goes outside he hears transformers popping. No damage but no power. Other family members in Daphne reporting the same.

Midwesterners just don’t get it. They’ll probably see the beautiful weather over the weekend and still wonder why they couldn’t come...

Doing good so far this morning.. windows and doors open.. a nice breeze! Just gonna try to make the most of what we got.. talked to the owners and they said they were gonna refund the stay! A few lines down and looks like the big blue chair at the snow cone stand across the street is gone! Window is busted out in my passenger side door but that's replaceable, just thankful for everyone's safety!

About what was assumed just west of landfall. Sustained TS conditions and rain will bring down some trees. Turns out Mobile has a ton of em. Glad to hear no trees on houses for them and just power outages.

They don't call it Fort Sugar Beach for no reason. It may not be as pretty but we will be open before everyone else is

Anything directly on the coast and elevated off the ground (which is everything) probably did “fine.” Probably some windows busted out here and there in some older places or some minor roof damage, but by and large this wasn’t a storm that would be of grave concern to the larger condo buildings.
