Roll Call - who else here actually GETS ALONG with your neighbors?

After reading yet another thread on someone feuding with their neighbor, I have to ask. How many people on here actually get along well with their neighbors.
I'm starting to think I might be the exception. Everybody in my neighborhood gets along well. In summer, we sit tend to sit around on somebody's patio or driveway every Friday night. In winter, we sit around the fire pit or watch a game in someone's converted garage. Heck, we all go on vacation together once in awhile. Even with those beyond our immediate group, we still get along well, tell each other hi and stop to talk if we are walking by.
There's got to be some of you baws out there that get along with your neighbors.

I don't live in a trashy neighborhood with trashy people so yes I get along with my neighbors.

The neighbors to my left are an older man and his wife. They are from Michigan. Best neighbors I could ever ask for. They do things for my kids out of nowhere and are always available when we need them.
I need to do something for them.
The neighbor to my right is an old woman and she is really nice.

I get along with most, we have several afternoons where our kids play together/we sip a cocktail or two, but there are also a couple that I try to avoid.

Yep, they have kids of a similar age and we all get along when the kids are playing.

In about 2 months we should be in our new house (subtle brag). It's a newly constructed subdivision so we will not have immediate neighbors at least for a few months. I hope we get decent ones

My neighbors have my alarm code and let my dog out during the day. They cook at least once a week, we get together on holidays, and they watch over my house during the day since they are retired.

Our neighbors are all friendly, quiet, & keep their houses & yards well maintained. Zero complaints.

My neighborhood resembles a retirement community. We are one of the few couples with small children in our neighborhood. We will stop and converse for a few minutes with our neighbors while walking our dog, etc., but that's about the extent of it. I can't really say that I dislike anyone in my neighborhood.

I have 20 acres in the middle of a 1000 acre timber plantation. My neighbors are great.

We get along well with our neighbors but only know one of them (next door) well enough to ask for favors such as taking care of the animals if we leave for the weekend.
Reading this site has taught me that I'm going to research potential neighbors (at a minimum, those next door) if we ever move.

My Texas neighbors are great. NOLA ones are ok except for the neighbor in the condo next door is an arse.

My neighbors and I have actually rallied this week against our slum lord. We've had no water for going on a week and it was just now fixed.
ETA: The neighbors at my parents house where I grew up (all of them) on my entire block could be like a second set of parents to me. Everyone comes over to my parents house, kids included, every Friday night and even for Thanksgiving every year. Growing up and looking back I am incredibly glad I grew up in that kind of environment. And its basically been the same core group of people for my entire life and even had many sets of kids that were the same ages which obviously helped. It makes me sad that I've had to move away from that.

I generally ignore my neighbors except for the old lady next door. She is super sweet but not able to do a lot of work around her her yard.
I've done things like dig holes for her trees, fix her pilot light on her fireplace, unload heavy things from her car, etc...
She is always appreciative and usually brings over a growler of beer or something g a couple days later.

My neighbors are very respectful. Any time I've had to knock on the door on behalf of the citizens safety group to address an issue with them they have handled it with class... Whether it be a teenager smoking in the yard underage or illegal fireworks or loud music or public cussing.

I pretty much ignore my neighbors and they do the same for me. Would prefer not having any.
