Did you forget the airsoft or bb gun part? He wasn't killing anyone with that toy, but it doesn't matter because he represented he had an actual gun.

Okay chief.

When you don't have an argument, insult. Well done.

Any person that shoots may find themselves in the "defense chair" (lol). Nothing anyone can do about that. But your argument was "Not good for the shooter". You're wrong, and I explained why.

Completely wrong. Whether it's real or not does not matter legally. Unless the DA can prove beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury that the shooter was absolutely positive that the gun was fake.

This is true. However, he better hope he does not find himself in the defense chair.

So your original response to that argument was "Double not good for the shooter". I guess this is your way of admitting your original response was completely wrong? If so, appreciate the admission.

Not gonna call you "chief" though. No need to be immature.

Doesnt matter....could have also been a real gun with no bullets....doesnt matter

The assailant pulled out a gun in a threatening way and was in the act of robbing the everyone in the restaurant. shooter can easily state he feared for his life and that of his friend at the table, and saw an opportunity to end the encounter thus eliminating the risk

The thief chose poorly and it cost him his life.

Hope this will serve as a lesson to even one would-be criminal.

Hard to feel bad for him.

I maintain that it was a good initial shoot. The 5 follow up shots standing over the robber while he was motionless on the ground may be an issue legally for mexican baw. Here is the ASP breakdown. Active Self Protection Youtube Video

I don’t have a link I can find at the moment but when the shooter realized it was a fake gun he throws it against the wall and clearly looks upset all regarding about what happened realizing it didn’t have to end like that. IMO that shows the shooter took action for what he knew as a threat at the time of shooting and makes him look better in my eyes. He was in control of himself in the situation.

I’m not sure how we’ve gotten here? There are certain actions that have the implication of certain reactions.

If you smoke, you should not be surprised if you get cancer or heart disease. If you drink and drive, you should not be surprised if you get arrested or worse. If you are robbing someone, it’s quite possible that you will get killed. I don’t care if the guy was done robbing people and walking back out to his car and someone shot him in the back.
