Looks like the criminals gun was clearly pointed at the diner in the back corner when the Good Samaritan shot him

This image brought me more joy than it probably should have. But as a victim of multiple armed robberies I can tell you this motherfricker deserved it.

And this couple in the video really gets to me me.
The often overlooked aspect of armed robberies is the ptsd that lasts for months in the victims. And you will continue to dream about it and lose sleep over it for years.
Until armed robbery carries the actual life sentence it was supposed to(or even 20-30 years), I'll cheer when these pieces of shite are gunned down for doing this to innocent folks.

Had many a late night there and it's ghetto AF. The apartment complexes that are around that taqueria are rife with crime, drugs and hookers for days.

Glad we won one

Don’t mess around like that in Texas

Will it deter future criminals… probably not. Because they are stupid

This image brought a lot of joy to me, but for different reasons. Been glossed over how calm they man was during the entire ordeal, then waited for the proper time to pull his weapon from the concealed position. He initially complied with the assailant, then waited until the guy no longer had a view of him before pulling his weapon, and still waited until he had an advantageous angle before pointing and shooting. This is the type of video that you often see when instructors talk about the proper way to respond if you are going to choose to respond.

"However, as he was leaving..." wtf? He literally had a gun pointed at that customer and was acting aggressively when he was shot. Good for the Samaritan for TCB.

Dude is aiming directly at his heart from the left rear angle. With the perps left arm high up in the air. Perfect kill shot.

Not good for the shooter.

Not true. He clearly still is posing a threat to people in the restaurant, whether he's coming or going. The gun is out and aimed.

Completely wrong. Whether it's real or not does not matter legally. Unless the DA can prove beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury that the shooter was absolutely positive that the gun was fake.

Otherwise, the fact that it was not real will have no bearing on the shoot.

Exactly. These airsoft pistols look extremely real. Also, the robber was ACTING as if it was a real gun. So, I'm going to take the robber for his word in that moment. Play stupid games and all.

He may have been leaving, but he still had his weapon trained on an innocent. the fact that the gun was fake is irrelevant.

News media got the "leaving" part wrong with their left wing spin. Shooter should get an old yellow letter from the Republic of Texas saying "Texas is Proud!"
