“Hey Puss, did she even exist?”

Some of Puss's last words were about getting under the table and eating some chicks shaved snatch while he drank tequila with her.

Bro, spoilers.
I'm watching it for the first time. I'm on like S3E8 and could walk away right now. Started this thing about 5 months ago I guess. I'm waiting for the hook to make me binge watch it. Breaking Bad that point is an episode or so into season 2. I re-watched the wire in a month. Way better show.

Agree. It has only been 25 years. I need More time to watch
I just watched the series. It was incredible I never sat down and watched it before.
It was cool to see life on screen back in that late 1990’s to early 2000’s. The cell phones and use of a home phone were satisfying knowing today we have a device in our hand that doubles as phone and a computer where we have information available on steroids.
Also thinking about if the series was made today, how much tracking the government would be able to do just because we are carrying a cell phone now.
Then you have the cold ending which leaves you guessing did something happen because your TV maybe went out or your cable got cut.
Another thing since the Sopranos was on HBO there are no commercials so each episode runs about an hour and has lots of violence and lots of nudity and plenty of sexual situations just the right length.
A lot of retail brands were featured in the series like Cadillac, Motorola flip phones, Cingular, Verizon, Uncle Ben’s Rice, boxes of cereal, Nissan, etc. Most TV series avoid using real brands unless there is some marketing agreement to showcase the brands in lieu of money or to avoid issues where a sponsor of a show might buy advertising time during a slot while in the show they competitor getting product placement. HBO has no commercials so this was never an issue during production, so from I read the writers were given carte Blanche to feature real brands and places. Only place where I can recall a brand being hidden was a bottle of Clorox when Chrissy had to clean up a murder.
I also remember one of the Soprano kids talking about getting their Discover card turned off. AMEX even has a cameo in the show as their investigators show up at restaurant where they were skimming off the numbers.

He would never do anything to put Tony in harm's way!

I made it to season six when HBO went Heated Rivalry with one of the characters.
Another thing that got me is the amount of death and funerals in the show.
In some episode arcs they were having a funeral every other week. Either because of mob it or old age. Then you had characters that just disappeared without a funeral that were said to have gone into "witness protection" or started a new life somewhere else.

Great character in the Sopranos and a couple other movies. Wish he wasn't a rat and could have stayed around for the whole run of the Sopranos.

He looked like a big fella his entire life. 80 years is not a bad run for him.

He had too much stress paying his kids Villanova tuition

That rat bastid Richie. Word is he's living on a hill overlooking a river with some little pine cones all around.

The best episode was Pine Barrens when Paulie and Christopher tried to kill that Russian and got lost in the woods. It had so many funny lines in it.
“Mayonnaise, MAYONNAISE! You got mayonnaise on your chin”
Sopranos was decent but not as good as people make it out to be. A lot of the acting was subpar and those kids were annoying as hell and needed a beating. Plus some of the storyline really jumped the shark. Paulie was the best character by far.

You’re not gonna believe this. He killed 16 Czechoslovakians. The guy was an interior decorator
