The North tended to name the battles after geographic features (Bull Run) and the South would name them after the nearest town (Manassas).

Sure something anything, just make sure it’s official and they get a nice salary to talk about nothing for a few hours a quarter, oh and then they can eventually put out a report saying if we only had more funding we could probably do more?

Hermitage area off Gardere

90% of the residents in that neighborhood are black. I guess they must not have a problem with the name

On a similar note, I was at a luncheon recently where there was a presentation by the Liberty High School Honor Guard and I was thinking, "where da fuq is Liberty High School?" before I finally realized it was the new name of Lee High. I don't care what they change the names to, but Lee High will always be Lee High to me. Lee Drive will always be Lee Drive. Raphael Semmes with always been Raphael Semmes.....

Is Shenandoah not a private neighborhood?

All of the streets in Shenandoah are public roads maintained by the city-parish.

So the name of a valley in Virginia - that was so named long before the Confederacy was even an idea - is somehow racist?

What's amazing isn't that this shite is going on but that anyone with functioning brain gives it any credence.

Are they still stealing St George's money, or is it being put into escrow during the lawsuit?

They're spending as fast as they can and they keep getting the trial date pushed back. It has always been about the $$$. They don't want to let it go now or anytime in the future.

The U.S. Health Secretary thinks he’s a woman, which is celebrated by the Left and most of the major institutions. It’s only going to get worse.

Almost every city has an MLK Jr drive. Almost every MLK Jr drive is a shithole. What’s the correlation there racist street name enforcers?

I believe you just swerved into a permanent solution to all these Confederate naming issues.

The left can pretend that Lee fought for the Union, that the North won the battle of Chancellorsville and that Jefferson Davis was our 18th president.

It makes as much sense.

As LSU President Tate stated, renaming is a waste of time because nobody knows who any of these people are anyway.

Nobody woke up this morning and said, "damn, I live on General Forrest, I am going to go shoot someone today because of the name of my street."

Their actions are because they're pieces of shite. Not because of the street names.
