Libs, progs and their cultured ilk seem to be mentally weak and soft. Glad they are in a position to make all of these decisions coming from such a place of emotional and mental weakness. What could go wrong?

I'll miss certain parts of the Shenandoah community when we move to Texas next year, but I won't miss EBR as a whole.

That's what I thought as well.
This is just another middle finger from BR Admin to St George. SWB is just rubbing your faces in the fact that they will never give up your tax dollars and there's nothing anyone is going to do about it.

I have an idea.

Let’s rename these streets after the 24 fallen police officers that gave their lives in defense of the City of Baton Rouge.

Would be a nice jab back to the liberal leaders looking to cash in on woke points by removing the names of white confederate soldiers with the names of the even more hated white cops.

negatively impact Baton Rouge's regional and national reputation

Fun fact: Nobody outside of Louisiana (excepting LSU grads) knows where Baton Rouge is or gives a s***.

It's like discussing the regional and national reputation of Dayton Ohio. For what???

I love how they spend money on important things like street names.

These things are obviously not important especially to SJW’s.

- cleaning drainage ditches so flooding can be reduced.
- fixing roads including crater size pot holes & bridges

Every name has some history behind it. Our first constitution was called the Articles of Confederation.

BATON ROUGE, La - Citing the incredibly positive results achieved by spending $500,000 to rename Lee High School, twice, the Metro Council has appointed a committee to study renaming streets in the city-parish.

The committee, overseen by the consultant group Chambers, Broome & Silky LLC, has spent the past seven months itemizing a list of street names that could be deemed divisive. A spokesman for the Metro Council said the study would have been completed in only three months but two of the committee members were shot during a carjacking, while a third member hasn't been heard from in several weeks, and is purported to be stuck in traffic on I-10 somewhere between the new bridge and the split.

Councilman Lamont Cole said the council is also conducting another paid study to rename any streets whose names contain "lake, river or creek" as a means to reduce future flooding in those areas.

And that is why every city in America should rename their North/South Streets alphabetically and the East/West Streets numerically. After Z, you go to AA, then to AAA (Skipping KKK for obvious reasons) and even to AAAA if necessary.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

So what B.R. really wants to do is re-name streets after H. Rap Brown, Stokley Carmichael, Huey Newton & Eldrich Cleaver, which will bring harmony, peace and prosperity to the area. Because we all know crimes like rape, assault, burglary and murder is due to getting enraged when seeing streets named for old white people. Wow, we had the solution all along! Gee, thank you liberal Dem politicians, can’t wait for the crime numbers to get to zero when the signs are changed!

Can anyone explain why Franwood Drive isn't named Dick Drive? Makes no sense to me.
