My man, look at the country side and then look at the cities. Who is littering more?

It literally doesn’t. If you are all in on climate change you want all the oil in the world to be converted to non-biodegradable plastic. In that manner in never becomes carbon dioxide, it’s just a visual nuisance when it’s not put in the pile at the edge of town none of us care about. The second it biodegrades or is combusted it generates CO2.

I do the basics, recycle where I can, I don't litter, etc.

If 75% of our population did these things and cut down use of single use plastics, it would make such a difference. It's not hard.

But people are lazy, stupid, and suck.

Of course we can all do things to be cleaner. There is no one that doesn’t want that. The issue is not that at all. The issue is the bullshite climate agenda hellbent on taxing the shite out of you and forcing things that may or may not be a solution to a problem that we more than likely cannot do a damn thing about

OP says to stop littering and this is how you respond. People are insane

Your lack of reading comprehension is insane. Insanely limited. The OP mention 1. man made climate change, 2. live more environmentally friendly AND 3. trash all over the planet. That's a broad list of environmental topics, and your simple brain regurgitates "littering bad".

There are people in this thread that don't want to do that

There are millions of people in our country that are fine with littering and being assholes.

Even if we start cleaning up our trash India and China are still gonna have a lot of trash, so there's no point.

I don't have to look and China and India's trash though.

You do realize there are other forms of "pollution" on this planet right? Not just that stuff floating around in the air.

It's not. For every limp-dicked redneck "rollin' coal" in his F-250, there are easily 100 Democrats who think nothing of tossing out the remnants of an entire family meal at McDonald's directly onto their own city block.

It took me a long time to understand this, but I really think it's because they don't consider the USA "their" country. It's Whitey's territory, and their presence here is a temporal distraction from some imagined, more Afro-Centric alternative timeline (in which they would keep their glorious homeland pristine, I'm sure).

Microplastics and groundwater contamination are serious, long-term issues that somehow never get seriously mentioned.

This is my biggest concern as well, along with river and tributary chemical discharge.

I know there's several groups trying to clean up all the plastic in the ocean. Seems like this should be a high priority but you don't hear much about it.

Yes. I’m not anti-gas or anything but I see no reason to not recycle, dump trash, not use reusable packaging, stuff like that. We should try to keep the Earth clean and trash-free.

It doesn't start with regulation but culture.

Jordan Peterson touches on this thought on Rogan I believe. Says people with a vested interest in the future, so those with gainful employment who don't have to worry about where their next meal comes from or paying the rent, are more likely to care about their environment and surroundings. They plan on living as long as they can and therefore want to help take care of their local space. People with little to no means are less likely to care for several reasons.
