A restaurant in BR has an entirely AI food menu, and it is hilarious to me.

It actually looks like they've redone some because they were even worse last week.

It should be illegal for realtors to use AI generated pictures and post them on Zillow. Most of the AI generated pictures are incredibly misleading. Making the grass green is one thing but completely changing the shape and size of a room is plainly dishonest.
I agree, and tend to agree with almost every AI generated image for business.

At the same time, a house went up for sale in my neighborhood last year that had dead boxwood bushes (or whatever they’re called). The photographer literally spray painted them green and it looked like crap in real life. If they’re going to be deceiving in the photos, I’d rather them use AI instead of spray paint.

To some other's points in here, using Gen AI to decorate a room is fine, but to completely misrepresent what the house is could be illegal.

But also, for someone to buy a house site-unseen with their real eyes.... might deserve to be fooled. I know there's certain circumstances where people are "forced" into buying site-unseen, but it's incredibly rare for a legit reason.

I would think if someone goes and sees it with their own eyes and it falls short of the AI generated photos, this would only hurt the realtor anyway.

I never understood why realtors do the glamour shot thing. Does it help their business? Do any guys really think if they buy a house from a hot chick she’ll hook up with him? Does hotness correlate with getting you the best price or house? Plus for the ladies it seems like it would attract the wrong kind of attention from people who might be alone in an empty house with them.

I like when they add a pool, and then there's some little note saying thats what it could look like.

Oh! so you don't think that the hottie realtor with the knockout body and tight spandex pants distracts you from the faux paus of a home?
Two words for you Caveat emptor . . . . . . . 'let the buyer beware'!!!!

There are a number of documentary films available on the internet that confirm this to be true.

You could do that with creative camera angles 30 years ago.

Not to the degree they are now doing w/AI.

Any place that does this is an insta pass for me. If they are too fricking cheap to hire a person to take some food pictures you can guarantee they are skimping out on plenty of important things too.

AI pictures still may or may not be as bad as fish eye lens camera shots. My buddy rents out trailers, and all of the pics of the living rooms on Facebook look like hotel lobbies!

I love when they do this to pieces of shite houses that they’re already asking over a million dollars for in New Orleans.
