I have several close friends living in Houston or in the oil field, but I can't help but for when the oil field goes bust. They fluff Houston like it is God's gift to mother earth. I find it to be a big shite hole.

Nope.....the school services we have are unmatched.

The best schools in CISD still rank behind the best schools in FBISD and HISD. FACT!

FBISD ranks higher than CISD even when factoring in Willowridge.

I hope so, I've got a lot of monthly income coming in from O&G, but that bust can happen overnight. I remember people buying Learjets one month, and having them repossessed the next. One of the first real estate deals that I made some decent cake off of was buying a new McMansion at foreclosure from a guy that I used do some work for. Jet, mansion, racehorse, wife all gone about 30 days after the money dried up.

its like that all over DFW too

sold my house in 8 hours, neighbors sold theres a month later in one day

our realtor told us anything in Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, southlake, etc is lasting 3-4 days at most

we went to two homes the day they went on the market and they were able to be viewed at 10am and when we got there we were the 7th car waiting to see it.

State Farm building a MASSIVE project in Richardson/Plano and moving 12,000 people here in next year and Toyota is moving US headquarters to Plano in next two years. area is exploding

Lol try Orlando's real estate, house prices are exploding and houses are gone with in a week to the highest and best offer. If you want a home you better be ready to bid over the asking price or you don't have a shot. My parents house has damn near doubled in value since 2003, it's crazy over here.
