My weekday breakfast is a low carb smoothie that's loaded with protein and fat(lots of full fat Greek yogurt and almond butter). Lunch is a salad with rotisserie chicken and lots of cheese. I'll usually have an afternoon snack of nuts and cheese.
I rarely even get hungry for dinner anymore, and often skip it. Maybe another snack of nuts and cheese. Drinking a lot of water during the day helps to make me feel full as well. I probably drink at least 2 liters of water a day.

Records are kept postmortem, you should have plenty to choose from since it's "thousands of years" worth.

Not trolling, I just do not understand how one can say there are no possible ill effects from eating a high fat, high protein diets. The rebuttal made is people have done it for "thousands of years". People had an average life expectancy of around 30years of age and were more likely to die from war, famine, disease or predators than heart disease, stroke, gall bladder, or kidney failure from said diet.

How do you guys do it when you leave for work at the buttcrack of dawn and don't get home until 6:30ish? What do you do for your meals?
Same thing you'd do if you weren't on Keto, I assume. Prep your lunches ahead of time. This isn't specific to Keto.
Unless you're implying you get lunch out every day...?

I'm sorry you don't like the evidence that's right there before you.
Maybe get out of your bubble every now and then?

What makes you think there would be I'll effects? Could it be a possible bias from years of science based on correlation instead of causation?

Latest study. Ton more I can link if you wanna see. Also tons on how high protein has no ill effects and tons of benefits.

I’m not saying keto is all bad but I think you’re onto something with the fat genetics.
Never knew anyone that didn’t have at least a little bit of the fat gene to do keto.
Most of them go on wild weight swings depending on if they’re on or off. True, that’s not really the diets fault except that socially it’s probably extremely hard to keep up.

At least they’re trying, but they should stop acting like carbs are evil because they can’t handle them.

Carbs aren't really evil, but being on keto and paying attention to nutrition labels really opens your eyes to how carb-dependent American diets are.
At least it did for me.

I was very successful on the keto diet and lost about 25-30 lbs while on it. I have strayed far from the diet and all of the weight has come back but this is based on my terrible eating and drinking choices.
That's kind of 99% of those who do keto. Fantastic results to start and then the weight all comes back.

Replace carb with calorie-dependent and I'll agree.
It's amazing how with exercise and following portion control and serving sizes one can drop weight fast.

Besides, Keto is nothing but Atkins, SugarBusters, South Beach diet, Cave man diet, blah blah blah
The best of the bunch was South Beach since it placed an emphasis on lean proteins and mixing in fruits and veggies while limiting foods like nuts due to high fat and calorie content.
