The best of the bunch was South Beach since it placed an emphasis on lean proteins and mixing in fruits and veggies while limiting foods like nuts due to high fat and calorie content.
Here's a pro tip: all fats aren't bad.

Body fat is only burned from being in a caloric deficit.
This is a gross oversimplification. The endocrine system and gut health play a huge role. Not every calorie is absorbed. Hormone levels determine what the body does with the calories it takes in.
Some people eat tons of whatever and gain no fat. Until she was in her late 30s, my wife ate fast food, sweets and whatever she wanted and stayed 115 pounds without working out. She wanted to gain weight and couldn’t no matter what she did. Now at 41, she’s at her ideal weight, but she has to watch what she eats and exercise to maintain it. What changed? Hormones. Because of her hormones, calories were passing straight through her instead of being absorbed. It runs in her family as he mother and aunts were the same way.
If we optimize our hormones, we can eat at a surplus, gain or maintain muscle and lose fat.

Never said they were. But one diet emphasizes calorie control with eating things like chicken breast, sirloin steak, and salmon while the other says load up the bacon and brisket and hold on!

What makes you think there would be I'll effects? Could it be a possible bias from years of science based on correlation instead of causation?
Protein is not as of a issue as the high fat.
How can one be naive to believe cardiovascular health will not be affected by high fat/cholesterol diet? This ialsi very concerning forGallbladder, fatty liver.
High ptotein is fine provided you are hydrated and healthy, but if you are obese, have hypertension you are running the risk of putting a lot of stress on your kidneys and potentially put them could push them into failure.

It's trendy like veganism. That's why people are doing it.
frick that shite. Not giving up drinking 3-4 beers a night and/or pizza. My highly functioning alcoholic game would diminish.

Yeah, but that’s no fun.
Why do healthy men have higher muscle mass and lower body fat than healthy women?
