I played a couple of times when I was a kid and got hooked, but paintball guns were too expensive. We played with slingshots instead. You want bruises... Eventually we were creating body armour out of cardboard & PFDs.

This is not the first time your wife chose to go with the small balls

once took a shot to the hand. THE HAND. It started spasming and I dropped my gun. That shite hurt for days after.

I got stung in the back of the neck once. We always wore old ball caps and turned them backwards, then stuck the mask and goggles on. Thinking the bill of the cap would help on the neck. Someone was above me across a small pond, and I had my back to him looking down the hill in front of me. Popped me twice in the neck.

I use to turn my velocity way up. Had a few arguments where me and a friend just started shooting each other from 10 yards. Never had anything that hurt bad.

Why not do something safer like painting with a twist or build a bear?

Those .50s are shite guns. Go with the .68 and teach those young men about the consequences of being slow

You are going to get bruised. I say only the first hit hurts. After that your adrenaline gets going. We used to shoot each other up before we even got there.

I don't know. We were playing a game of speedball, and a buddy took one right in the dick.

Last time I went was to some sketchy place in the woods run by dopeheads. Anyway just started a time out and my cousin's cousin either didn't realize it or didn't care and shot me in my neck at like 20ft. God that hurt. big swollen lump with blood mixed with paint running down my neck.

We started playing paintball at 11/12 years old in the woods behind my buddy's house. .68 caliber and we had our guns turned max velocity, which I don't think the payplaces allow.

Yes it hurts when you get hit and yes it will leave marks and bruises. That's part of what makes it awesome. 12 year old boys can handle it. Tell your wife to frick off.

Yeah I don't care if my son gets bruises, it's the moms of the other 15 kids that I'm worried about

Get the other kids parents to fill out waivers online for the paintball place before yall go. I know Paintball Command in Mandeville has online waiver forms.

If the kids wear long pants and a hoodie sweatshirt, the bruises won't be bad. Getting hit on the hand would be the only painful hit.

The first shot I took ever was too the tip of my thump while I was aiming. Top of the hand hurts too but that shot to the thumb was the worst I ever felt.
