Looking for some quick advice. Planning to take some 12 year old boys to fight it out and one of the outdoor paint ball places next week and the place is asking if we want to use 50 caliber or 68 caliber. For kids 10 and under, you have to use the 50.
I say we go with the 68, but my wife is being a ninny and saying she's heard of people getting bruised up and such.

Tell your wife to stop being a pussy. It's not that big of a difference at 15+ yards. Most places won't let you shoot any closer.

Nothing will be solved by shooting paint at each other. Copper jacketed lead is the answer.

That's part of the fun for 12 year olds. Comparing bruises afterwards. We never used the smaller ones. Back in the day, when we had a group with younger kids in it, they just dialed back the FPS. I forget what the cut off was, but they had a chrono and would fire off a shot, and adjust downwards until they hit it. Of course we took an allen wrench with us and cranked ours back up once in the field. It is hard to lead someone running when your paintball is so slow they can see it coming and just stop running.

Might as well use the big ones. Bring a pre-cooled yeti packed with ice and give your kids paintballs a quick dip in there. 20 minutes should do it.

Gonna get bruised anyways

A 200 mph projectile hurts.

Played a few Mardi gras opens in my day.

Fun times.

There is no more satisfying feeling than bunkering someone

Cept maybe nut shotting the person attempting to bunker you.

Tell your son to freeze his paintballs the night before

Yeah I don't care if my son gets bruises, it's the moms of the other 15 kids that I'm worried about

More fun when you roll one under someone's mask and bust their lip

Man, they can get bruised up playing sports.. If that's the only downside then go with the 68,

68 is your standard paintball...50 is a newer first-strike paintball they developed. They say it fits straighter but I think it's more lil kid related.

They are gonna get bruised...it's the game. If the moms don't want them to get bruises, let their kids go play doll house with the neighbors lil girls so they can get a start on their compassionate side and be a step ahead of the other kids on his path to womanhood.

I once took a shot to the hand. THE HAND. It started spasming and I dropped my gun. That shite hurt for days after.
