My Amazon auto purchase each month for the good ones was replaced without my knowledge with the new shitty ones. I found the old good ones again, though, and switched it.
Spreading the gospel of the authentic Kleenex Viva paper towels these last ~ 7 years has been a joy and a blessing. I always keep a 6 month supply in me cellar

pretty sure hostess used to not coat their pastries with melted plastic back in the day
That’s a really good one.
I remember when I was a kid, my grandma used to get the Hostess Ding Dongs when they still individually wrapped them in foil. It was like a special treat. I got one a couple years back for the nostalgia and it barely had any flavor and the texture was waxy.
Very gross.

College football for me. The on field quality is good, but the sport as a whole has lost it’s luster.

Popeyes biscuits.
Bring the old square Popeyes biscuits back! I have the copycat recipe and they are the best.

It was, but my ex destroyed him with a baseball bat and posted it on Instagram then kicked me out of the house (this same house). It were hard times for me, mate. I had a breakdown fr.

Wilson footballs! 10-15 years ago they were as reliable as it gets. The last 5-6 years the price has gone up to $115+ and at least a third of the ones I order will not hold air and have to be sent back.

All products intended for the American consumer has as many engineers figuring out ti add more obsolescence into them as they ha e trying to improve them.
What incentive does a manufacturerer to create the 50 year automobile, or a refrigerator that you can pass down to your children.
The trick is to make whatever the thing is last just long enough sp thre consumer doesn't feel completely ripped off, and the built in catastrophic failure be some component that sis obscure enough or general opinion of is such that the consumer doesn't necessarily blame the manufacturerer.

Any major appliance you buy. Bells and whistles out the arse but zero reliability

Manual can openers. I used the same one for 10-15 years and it worked just fine. It got lost while moving, then every one I bought after that broke within six months. I finally just went on ebay and found an old swingline from the 80s.
